About Care Ministry

The primary task of this ministry shall be to provide for the needs of Salems members by providing visitation care, service care, comfort care, prayer care, and transitional care.

 

 

Visit individual while they are in the hospital

 

Visits individual at home, after their hospitalization and during their convalescence.

 

Assist with any household cleaning, cooking, childcare, pet care, plant care as needed for individuals during their time of illness.

 

Performs minor household repairs.

 

Provides transportation for those with medical appointments and medical needs.

 

 

Visits individual with long-term care need for those at home and in the nursing home

 

 

Prayer needs are made known to other prayer members by phone of e-mail in order to offer prayer for those in need.

  

 

Provides encouragement and support for new moms and dads and their babies.

 

Assists the church members in celebrating the important milestones reached by its members through a card ministry, for such events as:

Birthdays, Graduations, Baptisms, Anniversaries, Confirmations, and the Celebration of Life in Symathy.
